Coralogix is a modern, full-stack observability platform processing 50GB+ of data every second for over 4,000 companies. The platform specializes in comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, traces, and security events with features including APM, RUM, SIEM, and Kubernetes monitoring, reducing observability spend by up to 70%. As a Senior Mobile SDK Engineer, you will join the SDK team to build and evolve Coralogix's mobile SDKs end-to-end, working across React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, and Swift. You'll architect and design public APIs for mobile SDKs that capture crashes, errors, network calls, mobile vitals, user journeys, and session replays running on millions of devices. Key responsibilities include: - Building and maintaining the bridge between TypeScript and native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) SDKs, ensuring feature parity across platforms - Developing instrumentation for errors, crashes, network requests, navigation, user interactions, mobile vitals, and session replay with privacy masking - Optimizing SDKs for minimal CPU, memory, battery, and app-size overhead while maintaining stability - Designing public APIs with strict semantic versioning and backward compatibility - Strengthening test infrastructure with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests on emulators and simulators - Tracking platform changes across React Native, Flutter, Android, and iOS ecosystems - Collaborating with Product, backend, and frontend RUM teams to support customer integrations - Leveraging AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while maintaining engineering standards The mobile stack is built on OpenTelemetry, with native SDKs for Android and iOS, hybrid plugins for React Native and Flutter, and build-time tooling including a Gradle plugin for automatic network client instrumentation. Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on mobile development, including at least 3 years of production React Native work - Deep understanding of React Native internals: native modules and the bridge, JS and UI threads, and native build systems (Gradle, CocoaPods, SPM, Xcode) - Hands-on experience writing React Native native modules or plugins for hybrid frameworks like Flutter - Experience with React Native New Architecture (TurboModules, JSI, Fabric) or Expo config plugins - Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills, plus working knowledge of Kotlin or Swift - Solid understanding of Android and iOS app lifecycle, threading, memory, and performance - Experience building libraries, SDKs, or plugins for other developers, including API design, versioning, and packaging (npm, Maven, CocoaPods, SPM) - Strong sense of ownership and independence Advantages: - Strong native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) experience; both platforms preferred - Flutter and Dart experience, including platform channels - Experience building observability, crash-reporting, or analytics SDKs - OpenTelemetry familiarity - Low-level instrumentation experience: method swizzling, bytecode manipulation, network interceptors - Session replay, screen capture, or privacy masking experience - Profiling and leak-detection tools: Android Studio Profiler, LeakCanary, Perfetto, Xcode Instruments, MetricKit, React Native DevTools (Hermes), Flutter DevTools - Open-source contributions - Monorepo experience (Nx) and mobile CI with end-to-end testing (Detox) - B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
