Salary: SEK 878,000 - 1,098,500 / annual
Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join the Grafana IRM (Incident Response Management) squad. IRM operates business-critical services that help organizations detect, respond to, and learn from incidents with minimal toil. The squad's mission centers on unified experience, automation and integration, and observability-native design.
In this role, you will design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana's mobile application, owning its reliability, performance, and availability. You'll take features from initial ideation through to production, driving projects end-to-end and iterating based on customer feedback. You'll participate in the team's on-call rotations, mentor other engineers, and contribute to design discussions. The role emphasizes collaboration in a fully remote, distributed team environment with regular video communication.

- Designing and maintaining the mobile application with focus on reliability and performance
- Participating in on-call rotations and owning operational aspects

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with at least one native mobile platform (Android or iOS)
- Strong production experience building Flutter apps, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and maintainable architecture
- Demonstrated ability to take mobile features from idea to release independently: clarifying requirements, exploring solutions, building, testing, CI/CD workflows, and shipping to App Store and Google Play
- Comfort integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, performant code that other engineers can understand and extend
- Self-starter mentality with bias toward action
- Customer-focused mindset and passion for intuitive product design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for remote work
- Pragmatic approach to breaking down complex challenges and delivering iteratively
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as a Grafana or Prometheus user in operational/on-call roles
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with on-call operations, SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code
- Open-source project contribution or maintenance experience
