Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join the Incident Response Management (IRM) squad. The IRM team operates business-critical services that help organizations worldwide detect, respond to, and learn from incidents with minimal toil. The squad's mission centers on unified experience, automation and integration, and observability-native design.
In this role, you will design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana's mobile application, owning its reliability, performance, and availability. You'll take features from initial ideation through to production, driving projects end-to-end and iterating based on customer feedback. You'll participate in the team's on-call rotations, mentor other engineers, and contribute to design discussions. The role emphasizes collaboration in a fully remote environment, requiring strong communication skills and an independent, self-starter mindset.
You'll work across the mobile, frontend, and backend functions as needed, embracing Grafana's open-source culture and contributing to projects beyond your immediate scope. The team values customer focus, pragmatism in breaking down complex challenges, and delivering modular solutions with short feedback loops.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with at least one native mobile platform (Android or iOS)
- Strong production experience building Flutter apps, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and architecting maintainable codebases
- Demonstrated ability to take mobile features from idea to release independently: clarifying requirements, exploring solutions, building, testing, implementing CI/CD workflows, and shipping to App Store and Google Play
- Comfort integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, performant code that is easy for others to understand and extend
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience as a Grafana or Prometheus user in operational/on-call roles
- Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with on-call operations, SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code
- Open-source project contribution or maintenance experience
