Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Connected Warfare team modernizes command and control systems for military forces, with products scaling rapidly in production. You will ensure systems are tested to stringent standards while shipping the highest quality products to customers.
In this role, you will maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure efficient production test flow. You'll provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex electrical issues discovered during testing. You will maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts and acceptance testing to key component-level in-process validation.
Key responsibilities include improving and sustaining existing test systems to enhance automation, consistency, cycle time, and test coverage. You will generate clear test work instructions for technician teams in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and train technicians on equipment use. You'll develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides for fast issue resolution and determine root causes of product failures, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
You will collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis. You'll contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new product introduction (NPI) processes and analyze test data to document results and provide detailed reports identifying defects and improvement areas. You will optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness, reducing test time without compromising quality, and maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
The ideal candidate has high ownership and drive to improve their skills as a Manufacturing Test Engineer. You should be comfortable taking on large-scale, complex projects and learning about new, challenging concepts.
