Celonis is seeking a Senior Value Engineer (titled Senior Management & Technology Consultant - Aviation/Logistics) to serve as a trusted advisor helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role combines deep process and industry expertise with consulting and analytical skills at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
You will own the end-to-end value journey for customers—landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing. Working in partnership with Celonis Sales Teams and Services, you will translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects, build business cases and demos, run value workshops, and engage senior stakeholders to deliver measurable results and secure long-term partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
**Identify & Frame Value:** Discover and translate strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices. Undertake value assessments or proof-of-value projects and communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives.
**Realize Value:** Facilitate business value workshops to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities. Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
**Scale Value:** Build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding Celonis as a transformation platform. Drive adoption and expansion across customer organizations. Provide feedback to product development teams on new use cases and platform enhancements.
Native-level German proficiency is required; you must lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in an analytical role demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment. Ideally in a customer-facing role (Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT/Management Consulting) at a Business Software/SaaS provider or consultancy, or in an inhouse role (Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within an enterprise.
- Good knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP). Experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools, building dashboards, apps, and action flows. Knowledge of Python and/or SQL. Experience collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures. Proven ability as a change agent training users and process owners to realize value.
- Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines. Ability to manage multiple projects across aligned accounts at different stages of the value journey. Ability to leverage partners from the Celonis ecosystem.
- Experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation, System Transformation).
- Ideally, expertise in Aviation/Logistics/Transportation with ability to develop deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
- Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable program.
- Native-level or near-native German language skills (written and spoken) with ability to confidently engage German-speaking customers, facilitate workshops, and present to executive stakeholders.
