inDrive is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for operations in Pakistan and other jurisdictions. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, offering hands-on ownership and full scope of responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide end-to-end legal support for operations across multiple jurisdictions
- Advise on a broad range of legal matters including civil law, commercial contracts, consumer protection, competition law, marketing and advertising regulation, ride-hailing licensing, fintech, and digital regulation
- Review and approve contracts, policies, and claims resolution
- Review advertising and promotional activities for regulatory compliance; support marketing and media campaigns with legal guidance
- Monitor emerging regulations and conduct legal impact analysis on business operations
- Ensure adherence to local laws and internal compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regional and global initiatives
The role demands a proactive, business-oriented approach to solving complex legal challenges in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm supporting IT or technology companies
- Demonstrated expertise in civil, commercial, consumer, and media/advertising law
- Familiarity with fintech and digital platforms regulation (advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- English proficiency at C1–C2 level or equivalent; local language proficiency required
- Experience in international environments is a plus
