Scalable Capital, a leading European fintech platform with over €30 billion in assets under management and 1M+ clients, is seeking a Senior Kotlin/Java Software Engineer to build and evolve business-critical payment services. In this role, you will design and develop payment services across the full lifecycle—initiation, validation, execution, status handling, returns, exception management, and reconciliation—using Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. You'll shape reliable delivery and operations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and monitoring. Working in autonomous, cross-functional teams using agile practices and Domain-Driven Design, you'll take ownership from idea to production, delivering measurable value while improving quality, automation, reliability, and developer experience. The company offers international relocation support, flexible work arrangements including the opportunity to work from abroad, German language classes, education budgets, and an attractive compensation package including company pension scheme and complimentary PRIME+ Broker subscription.
