Exotec is a French industrial unicorn revolutionizing warehouse automation through AI-powered robotics and software. The company develops warehouse control systems (WCS) that coordinate logistics operations and synchronize Skypod robots with broader warehouse workflows.
As a Senior Java Software Engineer in the R&D department, you will develop software components for the WCS platform and integrate them with existing architecture. Your responsibilities include:
• Develop software modules and interfaces for the warehouse control system
• Translate client logistics requirements into robust, high-performance solutions
• Conduct software testing on R&D installations
• Build and deploy rapidly deployable software environments for client installations
• Collaborate with project and maintenance engineers to monitor and improve deployed solutions
You will work in a structured yet creative environment, taking ownership of initiatives while collaborating with a distributed global team. The role involves on-call responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent Bac+5 qualification in computer science or industrial informatics
• Minimum 5 years of web development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in JEE (Spring) development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React or Vue.js preferred)
• Comfortable with Linux environments and database management (PostgreSQL)
• Solid understanding of web technologies
• Structured, creative, rigorous approach with initiative-taking and collaborative mindset
• Operational-level English proficiency
