Scalable Capital, a leading European digital investment and banking platform, is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join its highly motivated software engineering team in Vienna. You will design and implement user interfaces that make complex financial concepts like investing accessible to everyday users, working across the full app lifecycle from ideation through App Store delivery.
In this role, you will be empowered to implement, improve, and suggest technical and product improvements. You'll experiment with new iOS technologies to maximize platform capabilities, build visually rich user experiences, and write clean, testable, well-documented code with security as a first-class concern. You'll collaborate with software engineers, academics, and product teams to drive innovation in the fintech space.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or comparable qualification
- Profound working experience as an iOS Engineer
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product domains
- Passion for delivering great UX and working with custom UI; proficiency with UIKit and Auto Layout; interest in other technology stacks
- Ability to stay current with iOS ecosystem changes
- Excellent communication skills (clear, concise, targeted to engineering, product, and other stakeholders)
- Excellent English communication skills; German optional
- Prior fintech experience is a plus but not required; interest in investing or existing Scalable Capital customer is a bonus
