Juniper Square is a leading operations platform for private markets, serving 2,300+ GPs with $300B+ under administration. The company unifies technology, data, and fund administration services, and is now embedding AI across workflows through JunieAI.
You will join the Business Technology integrations team as a Senior Integrations Engineer, owning the system-to-system connectivity layer that powers revenue operations and enables internal AI agents to operate across critical systems. This is a high-impact role on the company's Lead-to-Cash rebuild and broader systems modernization.
Your primary responsibilities span three interconnected areas:
**System Integration**: Design and build integrations across Salesforce, a new CPQ platform, contract management, NetSuite, and the cloud data warehouse using Workato recipes, custom connectors, and APIs. Replace point-to-point handoffs with reusable, documented patterns. Build pipelines that move operational data to the warehouse so reporting is no longer CRM-dependent.
**Event-Driven Automation**: Implement webhooks, platform events, and change data capture triggers so billing and provisioning fire from business events (e.g., fund first close) rather than manual calendar reviews. Design for idempotency, retries, ordering, and reconciliation to maintain financial data integrity when failures occur.
**AI Connectivity**: Build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose governed read/write operations over the revenue chain to internal AI agents. Define tool contracts, permission scopes, and guardrails so agents operate only within approved boundaries with full logging. Evaluate and adopt Workato's AI and MCP capabilities where appropriate.
**Security, Reliability & Operations**: Apply least-privilege access, secrets management, and service-account hygiene to all integrations. Build monitoring, alerting, and runbooks; own incident response. Meet SOX, SOC 1, and SOC 2 change-management and audit requirements for integrations touching financial and customer data. Share design ownership and on-call coverage across the team.
Success milestones: independently own production Workato integrations and ship your first event-driven billing trigger within 90 days; integrate CPQ with Salesforce, NetSuite, and the warehouse within 6 months; move reporting data to the warehouse and achieve MCP coverage across the revenue chain within 12 months.
