Kiteworks is seeking a Senior Information Security Officer to join its global security and compliance team. You will report directly to the Global IT CISO and work as a senior individual contributor, taking the lead on team projects while working independently on complex security and compliance initiatives.
In this role, you will own external security audits (ISO 27001, BSI C5, SOC 2), perform gap analyses, and implement new security frameworks and standards. You will serve as the full domain owner for identity and access management and supplier management, executing control tasks such as access checks, supplier reviews, and internal audits. You will champion security improvement initiatives across IT and software development, coordinate with control owners, handle security incidents, and answer security and privacy questions from customers, prospects, and colleagues.
As Kiteworks expands into new jurisdictions and embraces AI adoption, your role is critical in managing risk while enabling business growth. You will use AI to automate recurring compliance tasks, keep information security procedures up to date across departments, and onboard newly acquired companies into the global security and compliance program. You will participate in weekly security meetings, flag new risks and opportunities, and collaborate closely with IT and development teams.
Kiteworks is a fast-moving company that values pragmatic problem-solving over bureaucracy. The ideal candidate identifies risks, proposes mitigations, and gets things done. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Regensburg or Munich office.
