Axiado is an AI-enhanced security processor company seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to drive embedded computing system products from concept to production. In this highly visible role, you will own system design, create hardware specifications, and develop comprehensive test plans. You'll capture schematics using Orcad, collaborate with layout, mechanical, and signal integrity engineers to complete designs, and bring up systems in the lab for engineering validation. Your responsibilities include executing design validation, engaging cross-functional teams in technical discussions, addressing complex technical challenges, managing multiple concurrent tasks, and driving hardware builds and procurement activities.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4+ years of hardware engineering experience; 7+ years desirable
- Hands-on board design knowledge including schematic capture, PCB layout instructions, and signal integrity
- Proficiency with design tools including Cadence Orcad and Allegro
- Thorough knowledge of basic interfaces: I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces: PCIe, DDR4/DDR5, Display and Network interfaces
- Experience with DC-DC step-down converter design
- Experience with x86/ARM servers and their subsystems
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, bring-up, and design validation
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desirable: familiarity with firmware, Linux, and scripting languages
