Obviant is building a data platform and AI tools for defense acquisition, fusing information from thousands of structured and unstructured sources to provide intelligence on budgets, programs, organizations, and more. The defense market is growing rapidly, but decision-makers are forced to rely on manual processes and disparate data sources. Obviant solves this by creating a cohesive source of truth for companies, government agencies, and investors navigating defense technology.
In this Senior Fullstack Engineer role, you will own features end-to-end, from conception through deployment. You'll work across the full technical stack—designing robust APIs and type systems, building intuitive frontends and component libraries, and creating data visualization tools that bring clarity to complex information. You'll also collaborate with users to understand their workflows and develop innovative AI/ML solutions in a space that has historically lacked modern, cohesive technology.
The team moves fast, ships often, and solves complex problems with elegant solutions. You'll have direct influence on how the product is built, designed, and implemented. Your perspective and user empathy will drive decision-making.
Obviant is backed by top-tier funds and founded by DoD and national security veterans. The company culture emphasizes impact, overdelivery, hustle, empathy, humility, and integrity. The team is mission-driven and believes that public sector outcomes matter above all else.
