Salary: CAD 164,490 - 197,389 / annual
Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Grafana Data Source Plugins squad. In this role, you will take a leading role in developing and enhancing a diverse portfolio of data source plugins that retrieve data powering Grafana dashboards used by teams worldwide. The team focuses on continuously improving data source plugins to ensure seamless experience for human and agent users alike, with a key emphasis on guaranteeing smooth operation and reliability of plugins in Grafana Cloud.
You will work on a range of data source plugins including Prometheus, Loki, Infinity, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS CloudWatch, and ClickHouse. A typical day might include building or improving Grafana plugins to integrate third-party services or databases, supporting operations and reliability of plugins in Grafana Cloud, suggesting process improvements, integrating data sources with agentic workflows such as Grafana Assistant, providing technical support for customer escalations, and collaborating closely with the broader Grafana Division.

You are self-driven, understand the power of feedback loops in roadmap decisions, and have a bias toward action. You are customer-focused with a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customer needs. REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid experience with Golang and TypeScript
- Experience with Kubernetes and microservices
- Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others
- Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks
BONUS POINTS FOR:
- Prior experience as a user of Grafana and Grafana Data Sources
- Expertise in one of the underlying databases supported (Prometheus, Loki, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS CloudWatch, ClickHouse, etc.)
- Strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders
