Seeq is a remote-first B2B SaaS company building cutting-edge data analytics software for industrial process data across pharmaceuticals, energy, and manufacturing. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, build, and evolve complex software systems across the entire stack. You'll work with a JVM language (Java, Kotlin) or Python for backend functionality, TypeScript and React for frontend development, and databases like Postgres or MySQL. You'll own features end-to-end, demonstrating expertise in building large React applications and backend systems while contributing to generative AI infrastructure and applications.
Beyond individual technical contributions, you'll take on leadership responsibilities by mentoring junior engineers, guiding their development, and helping scale the team. You'll participate actively in code reviews, pair programming, and cross-functional collaboration. The company emphasizes agile principles, elegant code, unit testing, continuous integration, and immediate bug resolution. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Substantial professional experience in software development with a proven track record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems over multiple years
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript
- Expertise in one or more backend languages: Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications
- Experience with databases such as Postgres or MySQL
- Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team environments
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban)
