As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, build, and evolve complex software systems across both frontend and backend. You'll own features end-to-end, working with a JVM language (Java, Kotlin) or Python on the backend, and TypeScript + React on the frontend. Your responsibilities include writing elegant, maintainable, extensible code; advocating for unit testing and continuous integration; participating actively in code reviews; and taking on leadership roles to mentor junior engineers and help scale the team.
The role emphasizes collaboration through pair programming, code reviews, and cross-functional teamwork in an agile environment. You'll work with databases like Postgres or MySQL, distributed computing, and cloud platforms. The company is fully remote and fosters collaboration via Zoom, Slack, and their Qube Virtual Office. An in-person gathering once per year is expected.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Substantial professional experience in software development with a proven track record of designing, building, and evolving complex software systems over multiple years
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Expertise in building large React applications with TypeScript
- Expertise in one or more backend languages: Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Experience building and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications
- Experience with databases such as Postgres or MySQL
- Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with ability to guide and mentor junior engineers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team environments
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Must be authorized to work in the country of residence; company does not sponsor US F1 or H-1B visas
