Vibe.co is a streaming TV advertising platform that brings performance marketing capabilities (like Meta and Google) to the fastest-growing segment in media. The company has reached $100M ARR in under two years and is trusted by over 10,000 brands, reaching 120+ million households across 500+ apps and channels.
You'll join the Web Platform team to architect and modernize the frontend as the product scales. The product surface—dashboards, campaign tools, reporting, real-time data—has outgrown its current ad hoc patterns. This role owns the structural fix: defining state management, component architecture, and coding standards that the entire team will adopt.
Key responsibilities:
- Define scalable frontend state management (local, shared, server, URL state) across the application
- Establish frontend coding standards, development patterns, and clear boundaries between UI, business logic, state, and data fetching
- Lead technical decisions on frontend architecture and communicate trade-offs
- Improve maintainability, testability, and performance of the codebase
- Build reusable components that raise consistency across the product
- Drive adoption of the design system across product surfaces
- Collaborate with designers to turn Figma designs into production-ready experiences
- Explore AI-assisted workflows for design-to-implementation handoff
- Review code and mentor engineers on frontend architecture and best practices
- Contribute to backend services and APIs when needed
You'll have rare technical depth (defining architecture from scratch), influence (setting standards the team uses), and direct collaboration with design and product in a fast-moving environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience defining or significantly improving the architecture of an existing frontend codebase
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (ideally React)
- Practical experience solving state-management problems at scale
- Experience building, integrating, or maintaining a design system
- Comfortable working across the stack, including APIs, data models, and backend architecture
- Track record of introducing standards or patterns that other engineers adopted
Nice to haves:
- Experience with AI-assisted development or design-to-code tools
- Experience modernizing a legacy or fast-growing frontend codebase
- Experience integrating Figma or similar design tools into development workflow
- Experience in a fast-moving product or startup environment
