Adverity is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Senior Product Engineer) to own the technical direction and delivery of solutions within one of their product development teams. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Vienna with an expectation of in-office presence 3 days per week.
In your first month, you will onboard with your product development team, familiarize yourself with Adverity's products, technologies, systems, architecture, and engineering culture. You'll begin coding and ramping up quickly within the organization while getting to know the architecture and codebase in depth.
Within the first 6 months, you will support your team through deep code reviews, guiding engineers toward better system quality and practices. You'll participate in shaping new features by conducting proof-of-concepts, breaking down technical scopes, and working on team deliverables.
Beyond 6 months, you will have deep knowledge of the Adverity platform across both product and technical dimensions. You'll participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives, help product teams make pragmatic technical decisions, and increase your impact across the entire engineering organization.
The role emphasizes a product-driven mindset with a focus on understanding users and solving real problems through intuitive, user-friendly tools. You will work with AI tools daily (coding copilots, LLM-based design assistants, automation agents) and integrate AI reasoning and automation into workflows across coding, documentation, testing, and deployment. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you'll work closely with product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Python and preferably Django framework
- Experience managing large-scale production systems and building REST APIs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; proactive and detail-oriented
- Passion for learning, experimenting, and turning new AI tools into practical, repeatable workflows
- Daily use of AI tools and ability to integrate AI reasoning into technical workflows
Nice to have:
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers
- Background with data products and their challenges
- Ability to demonstrate AI-driven productivity and drive adoption within technical teams
