Strada builds AI agents that automate insurance operations end-to-end, handling claims, policy changes, billing, and servicing across insurance systems. You'll join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer in the Toronto office, working at the forefront of agentic AI. This is a high-impact role with significant ownership, working closely with customers to build products they'll love while shaping both the product and engineering culture as the company scales.
In your first week, you'll ship your first PR to production with minimal onboarding, get hands-on with the agent platform, and meet the team. By 30 days, you'll own a meaningful feature or system improvement end-to-end and start shaping technical decisions on architecture and tooling. Within 90 days, you'll take ownership of a core product area (conversational AI, workflows, or integrations), lead technical initiatives that ship to customers, establish engineering best practices, and have a seat at the table on product and technical strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development, preferably at startups
- Deep experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Strong attention to detail and eye for design
- Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Track record of owning technically challenging, cross-functional projects
- Customer-first mindset and interest in talking to users
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience deploying reliable LLM-based products in production
- Experience with Vite + TanStack technologies (Router/Query/Table)
- Experience with Temporal
- Experience working with data-intensive or real-time applications
