As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key early member of the engineering team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the core platform. Reporting to the Engineering Manager of your Pod (focused on Growth, Consumer, or Care Delivery), you will take full ownership of major parts of the codebase, set ambitious timelines, and lead project deliverables. You will work side-by-side with engineering, product, design, and analytics teams to drive the development of critical features that transform interactions with patients, dietitians, and insurance companies.
Key responsibilities include: designing, building, and shipping cutting-edge products and features at speed without compromising quality; driving continuous improvements in engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity; collaborating across product, design, engineering, and analytics to solve challenging problems in a data-driven experimentation culture; contributing to project estimations, planning, and execution; maintaining and elevating the existing codebase; and writing clean, fully-tested, high-performance code that sets the standard for excellence.
The role is hybrid, based out of Nourish's San Francisco office in the Financial District, and welcomes remote candidacy. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years as a Software Engineer with user-facing product experience
- 3+ years experience with tech stack (React, Typescript, Node.js, React Native, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Amplitude) or confidence in cross-training and up-skilling
- Ability to independently take projects from idea through implementation
- Desire to be deeply involved in product and design, building end-to-end through design, coding, testing, and deployment phases
- First-principles thinking: asking why, challenging assumptions, and valuing the right answer over being right
