Infisical is an open source security infrastructure platform for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. The company has raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, with customers including Hugging Face, OpenRouter, LG, and NVIDIA.
You will join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build, optimize, and expand the platform's foundation. The role involves developing and maintaining features while communicating directly with enterprise customers, expanding newer product lines (Infisical PKI, PAM, and KMS), and experimenting with novel AI applications to secrets management and security infrastructure.
Recent engineering initiatives include developing secret rotation and dynamic secrets strategies, a gateway for secure access to private resources, protocols like EST and KMIP, integrations for syncing secrets across cloud providers, and entire new product lines.
You'll work closely with the CTO and engineering team on a broad range of challenges. The team brings experience from Databricks, AWS, Red Hat, and similar companies. Infisical operates primarily as a remote team with a strong presence in San Francisco and regular in-person gatherings for off-sites, conferences, and team events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep technical mastery of the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript (3+ years)
- Exceptional attention to detail and eager to learn
- Bias toward action—able to make decisions with incomplete information, iterate quickly, and take calculated risks
- Based in the Americas (US or Canada), Brazil, India, UK, or EU; must work US hours
NICE TO HAVE:
- Expertise in Go
- Understanding of DevOps/developer tools
- Previous founder or startup experience
- Previous experience building in open source or developer tools (professional or personal)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for direct customer interaction
