As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Customer Platform team, you will own and evolve foundational systems serving both B2B customers and individual creators. These systems include entitlements, workspace hierarchy, memberships, authorization modeling, and safelisting—the system of record for account structures and user entitlements. Your work directly impacts business-critical infrastructure and spans both enterprise-ready features and creator-focused experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the team's systems end-to-end across frontend and backend, from discovery and technical proposals through implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Shape the technical direction and architecture of the team's platform capabilities, balancing new development with long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Evolve the platform by refactoring and modernizing established systems to improve quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead larger technical initiatives from idea to delivery.
- Ensure stability and reliability of critical systems through monitoring, incident handling, and on-call rotation participation.
- Use AI tools as a natural part of daily work and help the team explore new applications in how we build.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs of both B2B customers and individual creators, translating them into technical solutions.
The engineering culture emphasizes openness and collaboration, with pair and mob programming, and dedicated hack weeks for experimentation and learning.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience building and maintaining systems, ideally business-critical ones where reliability and quality of execution matter.
- Proven experience working across the stack, building and maintaining mission-critical systems end-to-end.
- Strong grasp of distributed systems and system design principles.
- Strong backend development experience in Go, or another modern backend language (Python, Node, Java, Kotlin, or similar).
- Strong front-end experience writing code in TypeScript and React.
- Experience operating in cloud environments (GCP preferred, AWS also welcome), including modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to turn product and design input into technical specifications and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with agentic development and ownership of the quality of AI-generated code.
