Salary: USD 196,750 - 243,290 / annual
Roblox is a platform where tens of millions of people explore, create, play, learn, and connect in 3D immersive digital experiences. The Discovery UX team improves the user journey from the Roblox homepage through entering an experience, and helps developers connect with the right audience. The team primarily works on Home, Search, Charts, and Experience Details pages across the Roblox website and app.
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer on the Discovery UX team, you will design, build, and ship features that improve the user journey for millions of users. You will work with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data partners to match developers with the right audience. Your responsibilities include architecting universal solutions for delivering features across multiple platforms and devices, driving UX improvements through data-driven decisions and A/B testing, and collaborating with teams across Roblox to deliver a coherent user experience.
You will craft robust, extensible systems for high-traffic surfaces including the Roblox homepage, using React and other technologies to build components quickly and efficiently. This role reports to the Engineering Manager on the Discovery UX team.

Roblox offers a hybrid work arrangement: onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday. All full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience with web technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- 3+ years of experience building and launching consumer-facing features with design, product, and/or other partners
- Mobile App Development or Game Development is a plus
- Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or other technical field is a plus
