Blipay, Tilt's Brazilian fintech unit, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build mobile and web products that serve over 1 million customers. You'll own the full stack of user-facing surfaces: React Native for mobile and React/TypeScript for web, shipping products like salary advances, FGTS, and consignado that directly impact customers' financial lives.
The role emphasizes software scalability and clean architecture. You'll work with a consolidated codebase built on clear separation of concerns, extending the foundation as new products launch. You'll collaborate directly with product, credit, compliance, and analytics teams—no intermediary layers. You'll reason about API contracts and backend/BFF concepts, contributing to technical decisions that shape how the platform evolves.
The team is distributed across 14 countries and 12 time zones, with a primary office in Campinas, Brazil. The role is remote-first; the team gathers at the Campinas office twice yearly and participates in two global Tilt offsites annually (past locations: Vail, San Diego, Mexico City).
Tilt's credit models use over 250 real-time financial signals and Open Finance data to serve customers traditional lenders overlook. You'll ship interfaces where clarity and correctness directly determine whether someone accesses credit.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of combined frontend and mobile engineering experience (flexibility if close)
- Solid hands-on experience with React Native (mobile) and React with TypeScript (web)
- Hands-on experience with a state management library
- Comfort with clean architecture and separation of concerns; instinct for software scalability as products are added
- Working knowledge of backend and BFF concepts; ability to reason about API contracts and where logic belongs
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (C1 level)
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools (company uses Claude; similar experience transfers)
