The company removes friction from cross-border business by providing global payments, compliance, multi-currency management, workforce management, working capital, and business intelligence solutions.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Payoneer's application UI and setting high standards and best practices. You'll build the UI of comprehensive React applications serving millions of customers in the fintech industry, solving complex problems with creative and practical solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and implementing features and user interfaces for Payoneer's cross-border payment platform
- Designing and building efficient, reusable, scalable, and testable frontend code
- Collaborating with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
- Proactively identifying areas of improvement in team systems, processes, and scalability
- Leading by example in code quality and contributing significantly to code reviews
- Monitoring production systems and investigating potential issues
You will work in a hybrid capacity from Gurugram, India, and be part of a mission-driven organization focused on connecting underserved businesses to the global economy.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in client-side development
- 6+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience, including asynchronous programming and closures
- 6+ years of experience using React and latest technologies
- Hands-on experience with web applications architecture
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with high-level English proficiency
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Experience working in a SaaS product company
- Experience with Context, Router 5, Styled Components
- Familiarity with server-side technologies
- BTech/BA/BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering
