Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 / annual

You will be hired as a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the interfaces used by customers and experts daily. Your primary focus will be on the core product, with secondary contributions to the marketing site. You'll have real influence over product design, user experience, and technical frontend decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shipping customer-facing features in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, working closely with design and product teams, and diving into the API layer as needed
- Owning frontend quality across performance, accessibility, and responsive behavior
- Extending and maintaining component patterns to ensure consistency as the product scales
- Leveraging AI coding tools to prototype, iterate, and ship faster without compromising craft
- Contributing to the marketing site with fast, polished pages optimized for search
- Establishing standards, tooling, and practices for frontend as the team grows
The role emphasizes user experience excellence, attention to detail in typography, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions, and partnership with design and product teams. You'll work with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, React, Next.js (Pages Router), Tailwind, shadcn/ui, SWR, Zod, react-hook-form, Storybook, Jest, and Turborepo.
Requirements:
- 5+ years building and shipping production web applications with deep React and TypeScript experience
- Strong product mindset with ability to channel user perspective into interface decisions
- Uncompromising eye for detail in typography, spacing, motion, and micro-interactions
- Comfortable owning frontend quality including performance, accessibility, and cross-device behavior
- Embrace of AI coding tools to move faster without sacrificing craft
- Strong communication skills with designers, product managers, and engineers; ability to balance tradeoffs
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex)
- Experience with data-heavy interfaces, complex tables, or admin tooling
- Experience with motion, animation, or high-performing marketing sites
- Portfolio or work samples
