You will own frontend architecture and feature development across web and mobile platforms, working on-site within an experienced product and engineering team. Your responsibilities include:
- Own frontend architecture decisions and feature development from whiteboard to production
- Build consumer-grade experiences across the patient journey (sign-up, care flows, account management)
- Ship robust, reliable, user-friendly features for patients and internal teams
- Ensure seamless cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Write clean, well-tested code using React, Redux, Apollo, and modern tooling
- Bring a systems mindset to design and architecture conversations
- Help scale the consumer experience as the business grows

REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of professional programming experience with a focus on frontend web development
- 5+ years of professional programming experience in React
- Experience creating robust, reliable, user-friendly software features for customers
- Experience developing for the web, including cross-browser compatibility
- Proficiency with modern tools: ES6, React, Redux, Apollo, Flux, Webpack, Storybook, Turborepo
- Experience thoroughly testing front-end components
- Ability to participate in design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative environment
- Passion for improving the Canadian healthcare experience (personal connection to the space preferred)
