As a Senior FP&A Analyst reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will bridge financial insight and commercial execution at a critical growth inflection point. You'll partner with business leaders across GTM, Operations, and Product to translate Paddle's transaction-based business model into strategic recommendations that drive profitable growth and investment efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
**Commercial Finance & Business Partnering:**
- Build financial partnerships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor on resource allocation, commercial strategy, and investment optimization
- Drive insights from core metrics (GMV, take rate, CAC, LTV, NRR, churn) into actionable recommendations
- Support business case development for strategic initiatives including pricing strategy, market/product expansion, and new launches
- Partner with FP&A and Finance leadership on board-level reporting and strategic narratives
**Forecasting & Analysis:**
- Evolve Paddle's planning models to bridge financial targets with operational execution
- Build management reporting and dashboards that translate complex finance insights into decision-oriented outputs
- Develop deep expertise in transaction-based revenue models across customer segments, geographies, and products
- Identify opportunities to optimize unit economics and capital efficiency
**Team Development:**
- Contribute to KPI framework evolution and build commercial fluency across the team
- Help establish a high-performing FP&A culture emphasizing clarity, ownership, and collaboration
- Champion data-driven decision-making in cross-functional projects

**Requirements:**
- Commercially astute and strategically minded; ability to connect financial data to business outcomes and influence commercial strategy
- Exceptional business partner with strong stakeholder management skills; ability to translate complex financial concepts into compelling narratives for non-finance audiences
- Technical proficiency in FP&A fundamentals including financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning; ideally with SaaS, payments, or transaction-based business model experience
- Comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity in fast-paced scale-up environments; experience with data quality challenges and evolving tooling (Pigment re-implementation underway)
- Detail-oriented with strong executive presence; ability to balance precision with confident C-level communication
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and build capability across teams
- Track record of consistent, high-standard execution and building long-term trust
