Hudl is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to work on next-generation, fully-automated sports cameras that use edge AI to automatically track action and upload to the cloud. These autonomous devices provide customers with seamless access to real-time video and insights.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hardware, Firmware, and Application Software Engineers, as well as the System Architect, to build a reliable, scalable, and easily updateable firmware system. You'll lead technically by setting an example in planning, designing, and delivering complex projects. Working in an autonomous squad, you'll own problems end-to-end and have the freedom and expertise to deliver the best solutions. Your team is responsible for turning early prototypes into fully functioning devices, working on low-level components that power the full stack of the device.
The role is hybrid with a primary location in Den Bosch. Time spent collaborating with teammates in-office will be a regular part of your work, and you'll be expected to work more days in-office than remote, with flexibility to coordinate your specific in-office schedule with your team.
Hudl emphasizes work-life harmony with flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays, meeting-free timeout days, and remote work options. The company fosters an open, honest culture with autonomy from day one, encourages career growth through professional development resources, and provides a well-designed office environment with full tech support for remote work. Employee wellbeing is supported through medical and retirement benefits (depending on location), an Employee Assistance Program, and employee resource groups.
