Hims & Hers, a NYSE-traded telehealth and wellness platform, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own FP&A for the Technology organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will be the finance owner for planning, forecasting, and analysis of one of the company's fastest-scaling cost centers, managing headcount, equity, stock-based compensation, and cloud/infrastructure spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly forecast end-to-end for the Technology organization, including headcount costs, equity, SBC, and operating expenses.
- Lead detailed budget-versus-actuals analysis each month, surfacing drivers, explaining variances, and flagging risks and opportunities to leadership.
- Prepare monthly budget decks and supporting analysis, translating numbers into clear narratives for executive action.
- Manage headcount pacing and partner with hiring managers on trade-offs across open roles, timing, and backfills.
- Own opex pacing across the Technology org, partnering with budget owners to keep spend aligned to plan.
- Build and maintain detailed models for cloud and infrastructure spend, including commercial inference and usage-driven costs.
- Drive resource tagging and initiative-level tracking to ensure spend transparency and attribution.
- Partner with Technology and Finance leadership on trade-off decisions and financial implications of strategic choices.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, finance business partnership, strategic finance, or related analytic field.
- 4+ years of experience building and manipulating financial models and large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong command of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis; ability to move fluidly between details and big picture.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with non-finance partners; ability to translate financial concepts for technical audiences.
- Bias toward ownership and action; comfortable operating with ambiguity in fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience partnering with Technology, Engineering, or Product organizations.
- Familiarity with cloud/infrastructure cost modeling (AWS/GCP/Azure) and usage-based or consumption-driven cost structures, including AI/ML compute or inference spend.
- Experience with equity and SBC forecasting.
- Experience with ERP and planning systems (Oracle NetSuite, Anaplan, Pigment, or similar).
