Salary: CAD 95,000 - 120,000 / annual

Liftoff is an AI-powered performance marketing platform for the mobile app economy. The company provides end-to-end technology solutions helping app marketers acquire and retain high-value users while enabling publishers to maximize revenue. Liftoff serves over 6,600 mobile businesses across 74 countries in gaming, social, finance, ecommerce, and entertainment. You will join the Deal Desk team within Strategic Finance, working cross-functionally with sales, accounting, analytics, corporate FP&A, and other teams to manage commercial agreements ranging from standard arrangements to complex, non-standard deals with strategic advertising partners. Key responsibilities include: - Own and manage the company's complex financial tracking files for customer incentive programs and revenue adjustments, ensuring accuracy and alignment with deal terms - Design deal desk incentives in collaboration with the GTM organization, crafting financial incentives that drive incremental revenue while accounting for unique customer circumstances and performance - Analyze and improve deal desk efficacy through quarterly post-mortems assessing successful vs. unsuccessful incentives, accretive revenue driven, and future strategy adjustments - Conduct strategic financial modeling to evaluate initiatives of interest to senior leadership, serving as the analytic engine for decision-making - Address cross-functional data requests tied to high-impact initiatives, providing clarity on business composition and operational drivers - Track revenue adjustments due to customer incentives and project adjusted revenue based on live or expected deals to present accurate financial performance forecasts - Partner closely with Accounting during monthly and quarterly close processes to ensure revenue adjustments and incentive impacts are accurately and timely reflected in financials - Own the company's primary KPI file, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of key metrics used in Board meetings, strategic planning, and critical business reviews You will work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong judgment, confidentiality, and self-motivation. The role requires comprehensive understanding of how the business generates revenue in current and hypothetical future states, with routine responsibilities including building financial models, crafting customer-facing incentive deals, and optimizing performance and margins on a deal-by-deal basis. The company follows a "remote first, come together meaningfully" philosophy and requires Pacific time zone working hours, with San Francisco Bay Area location highly preferred. Travel expectations include attending in-person team gatherings at least once per quarter for project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or related field) - 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis; prior experience in corporate development, accounting, investment banking, strategy, finance development programs, deal desk, or consulting is a plus - Extremely proficient in Excel and Google Sheets with strong modeling skills and meticulous attention to detail; comfortable managing complex files and transforming them to improve efficiency and usability - Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities across stakeholders, balancing short-term ad-hoc requests with long-term projects - Understanding of accounting and financial statements; experience in valuation is a plus - Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities - Strong business judgment and desire to learn underlying business mechanics - Ability to understand complex data and present it in accessible formats, including data visualization - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail - Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, Looker, or comparable data visualization tools
