Salary: USD 205,000 - 235,000 / annual

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Treatments Platform team, which spans nutrition, activity, and medication management. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare, backend engineering, and system integrations, requiring close collaboration with backend, mobile, and AI engineers as well as clinical operations teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, coach, and grow a team of backend and full-stack engineers, including hiring, performance management, career development, and retention - Set and enforce high engineering standards across system architecture, design reviews, automated testing, and production observability - Champion AI-assisted engineering practices to increase impact velocity and quality - Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to understand requirements and guide roadmap prioritization - Drive metrics-driven prioritization using business impact and platform health data - Partner with the Core AI team to integrate Generative AI and Predictive AI features - Participate in on-call rotations and take on additional responsibilities as needed - Travel regularly to Menlo Park headquarters for planning workshops and team collaboration Twin Health has raised over $100 million, including a $53 million Series E in 2025 led by Maj Invest, and is backed by leading venture firms including Sequoia, Sofina, Temasek, and Peak XV. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM-related field (Master's preferred) - 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineers - Strong hands-on backend foundation including microservices, API design, SQL databases, and event-driven architectures, with credibility to lead design reviews and guide technical decisions - Experience architecting and operating production systems at scale: observability, on-call, incident management, and performance optimization - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows - Demonstrated success partnering with product, design, and operations stakeholders on roadmap governance and prioritization in high-demand environments - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available - Plus: Healthcare or regulated environment (HIPAA) experience - Plus: Experience with or exposure to Generative AI and Predictive AI
