Showpad (recently merged with Bigtincan) is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its platform enablement team. You'll strengthen the infrastructure foundation that the engineering organization builds on, working in a platform engineering model where product teams own their AWS accounts, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Rather than operating infrastructure centrally, your platform team provides guardrails, reusable patterns, and guidance to help product teams succeed independently.
You'll contribute hands-on work closely with other engineering teams across the organization. Key responsibilities include building and improving shared AWS infrastructure, guardrails, and reusable patterns in a multi-account environment; supporting product teams as they build and operate their own cloud infrastructure; working with serverless architecture, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools; diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and platform issues in production; collaborating with engineering teams to unblock work and improve practices; and participating in operational support including on-call and escalation rotations.

The role is hybrid with 2 days on-site, based in either Ghent, Belgium or Bucharest, Romania.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must haves:
- Hands-on AWS experience, including serverless architecture and Kubernetes
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience; AWS CDK preferred or similar tool
- Platform engineering or enablement mindset: helping other teams build and operate effectively rather than acting as a central DevOps function
- Coding or scripting skills and practical approach to troubleshooting production systems
- Clear communication and ability to learn unfamiliar systems with team support
Nice to haves:
- Experience in multi-account AWS environments
- TypeScript and AWS CDK experience
- Experience in SaaS environments with autonomous engineering teams
- Comfort using AI tools to support development and infrastructure work
