In this role, you will own end-to-end development of on-device camera platform features, working primarily in C++ and Golang. You'll collaborate closely with product, streaming, storage, and AI engineering teams to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions optimized for edge computing environments. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and ship on-device camera platform features in C++ and Golang
• Partner with product to translate requirements into solutions aligned with vision and customer needs
• Coordinate with streaming, storage, and AI teams to optimize for edge computing
• Lead code reviews, guide debugging, and maintain high-quality, maintainable code standards
• Drive and coordinate over-the-air (OTA) releases, balancing delivery speed with stability
This is a hands-on senior IC role with significant technical ownership and influence across the camera platform stack. You'll work on infrastructure that powers millions of deployed devices globally.
REQUIREMENTS:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in systems software development for performance- and resource-constrained environments
• Proficiency in C++ or Golang
• 2+ years of experience building software for Linux-based platforms
• Strong understanding of modern operating systems, computer architecture, and trade-offs between compute, memory, and storage
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and Python for tooling and automation
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience developing on-device software for cloud-connected devices
• Familiarity with Linux Kernel development
