Documo is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company on a mission to help businesses digitize and streamline their document workflows. The platform uses Intelligent Document Processing to turn unstructured files like faxes and forms into structured, usable data.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the cloud platform that runs Documo's document processing and fax products, including the infrastructure behind AI and machine learning services. You will own the entire path from pull request to production, ensure production systems remain healthy and secure, and manage platform scaling as the product catalog and AI workloads grow.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building cloud infrastructure for document processing and AI/ML services
- Owning the CI/CD pipeline and deployment processes
- Ensuring production reliability, security, and scalability
- Mentoring other engineers and acting as a technical lead
- Collaborating with Applied AI, Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and System Architects teams
- Handling up to 10% customer-facing work, primarily escalations, connectivity/integration discussions, and security reviews
- Working with cloud vendors, compliance auditors, and customer technical stakeholders
You will report to the Engineering Manager, DevOps with no direct reports. The role emphasizes treating infrastructure as a product and leveraging AI tools in daily work.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of DevOps, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering experience
- Proficiency with AI tools in daily workflows
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Experience designing and operating cloud platforms at scale
- Expertise in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production operations
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and scalability best practices
