You will lead the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting development, deployment, and operations of the Smartcat platform. This is a leadership role managing teams across different regions and time zones, with responsibility for ensuring availability, scalability, and reliability of staging and production environments while defining and enforcing best SRE and DevOps practices.
Key outcomes include: achieving zero incorrect release-related production issues through rigorous CI/CD testing and reviews; maintaining CI/CD and staging server availability at 99.9%; ensuring product availability at 99.99% with effective disaster recovery; accelerating lead time through optimized CI/CD pipelines; and building and managing a team of high-performing engineers with expert technical guidance, coaching, and career development.
The tech stack includes .Net Core, MongoDB, Vue 2/3, AWS, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Gitlab CI, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Jaeger, and Kubernetes.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of experience leading a team in a fast-growing multinational IT business
- 5 years of experience in DevOps and SRE, maintaining high-RPS distributed products
- Data-driven approach with ability to justify decisions using concrete metrics
- Ability to build relationships with neighboring teams, initiate and adhere to agreements, and act as interface between team and environment
- Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices in a leading role, specifically building complex CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and realizing various deployment strategies
- Experience implementing secure development environments
- Practical experience developing and maintaining large scalable applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
