You will lead the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting Smartcat's development, deployment, and operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive critical outcomes: eliminating release-related production issues through rigorous CI/CD practices, maintaining 99.9% uptime for staging and CI/CD infrastructure, achieving 99.99% product availability with resilient systems and disaster recovery, and accelerating lead time through optimized pipelines.
You'll build and manage a high-performing team of A+ engineers across multiple regions and time zones, providing technical guidance, coaching, and career development. You'll work with a modern tech stack including .NET Core, MongoDB, Vue, AWS, Kafka, Elasticsearch, GitLab CI, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Jaeger, and Kubernetes. Your responsibilities include implementing secure development environments, building complex CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code practices, and deployment strategies for large-scale cloud applications.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in fast-growing multinational IT businesses
- 5+ years of DevOps and SRE experience maintaining high-RPS distributed products
- Data-driven decision-making with ability to justify decisions using concrete metrics
- Strong relationship-building skills across teams with ability to establish and adhere to agreements
- Hands-on DevOps expertise in leading roles: complex CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, deployment strategies
- Experience implementing secure development environments
- Practical experience developing and maintaining large scalable applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
