Celonis is seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer to lead hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers. You will combine deep platform expertise with AI-augmented workflows to deliver high-quality outcomes rapidly. This is not a traditional consulting role—you are an AI-augmented delivery professional who specifies what needs to be built, directs AI agents (like Apollo) to execute wherever possible, validates results, and iterates with customers to ensure business relevance.
You will own complex delivery end-to-end and lead customer discussions for your workstream independently. Your responsibilities span five key areas:
**Initiate and Connect:** Conduct business discovery workshops to translate customers' strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases. Collaborate with customer IT and business stakeholders to define project scope, data requirements, and success criteria. Ensure data connectivity and extraction pipelines are properly configured.
**Build:** Define solution design blueprints covering all relevant requirements, process events, and data points. Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards—writing clear specifications and validating agent outputs against business requirements. Build and configure Celonis solutions across the platform including Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, process analysis, operational solutions, and AI-powered insights. Identify process inefficiencies and root causes using Celonis technology in close collaboration with customers.
**Value:** Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, business relevance, and alignment with customer context. Lead value creation workshops and define measures to improve process inefficiencies. Define and build KPIs measuring customer success and quantify business impact. Present business cases to senior stakeholders (VP and C-Suite level) to secure sign-off on value realization plans.
**Rollout, Adoption, and Handover:** Enable key customer users to use and extend solutions independently. Manage project outcomes against timelines, scope, and customer expectations. Train and demonstrate to customer users, guiding them toward sustained value. Document solution design decisions and configurations for future reference.
**Domain, Industry Depth, and Practice Development:** Develop and maintain deep expertise within process domains (Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Production) or industry verticals (Automotive, Retail, Pharma, Banking). Proactively identify and standardize high-value use cases within your domain. Support pre-sales activities by acting as an SME, conducting requirements workshops, running scoping sessions, and contributing to effort estimations and statements of work. Scale your expertise within the company by joining communities, enabling internal teams, and speaking at internal and external events.
