Salary: USD 252,210 - 297,550 / annual
Roblox is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Litigation to join its Legal team. The role involves managing a high-volume docket of coordinated and parallel litigation proceedings across multiple jurisdictions, including state JCCP proceedings and other coordinated matters. You will support international investigations and regulatory inquiries, collaborate with and manage outside litigation counsel, and advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risk assessment.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and actively participating in internal discovery activities and subpoena responses, addressing pre-litigation disputes, assisting with internal investigations, and supporting broader Legal department projects. You will report to the Director, Litigation and work in a fast-paced environment managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
The position is based at Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, CA, with mandatory in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday and optional in-office days on Monday and Friday.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of litigation experience (law firm experience required)
- Membership in good standing with the California Bar or other bar association with ability to register as in-house counsel in California
- Experience managing high-volume dockets and coordinated or parallel litigation across multiple jurisdictions
- Broad complex litigation experience with emphasis in regulatory matters and experience in consumer protection, product liability, trade secrets, and employment law
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and risk assessment abilities
- Practical business acumen and ability to drive pragmatic, business-oriented solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Technology company experience preferred
- Exposure to international regulatory inquiries or cross-border litigation preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic organization preferred
