Itron is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to join its Global CME Contract Management team. This senior individual contributor role supports the full contract lifecycle—from preparation and review through negotiation, administration, and execution. You will collaborate with Sales, Commercial Legal, Proposals, Pricing, Delivery Services, Deal Desk, Finance, and other business partners to structure, negotiate, and manage customer agreements that support Itron's business objectives while balancing risk and compliance. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements (master sales agreements, order documents, amendments, statements of work, change orders, and related documents). You will partner with internal stakeholders and customers to negotiate terms that support business objectives while managing risk appropriately. You'll review statements of work, change orders, and related documentation for accuracy and alignment with established agreements, and respond to contractual terms in RFPs. You will conduct agreement reviews and gap analyses to identify inconsistencies, obligations, and third-party flow-down requirements, and support timely contract execution through established systems and processes. Compliance and risk management are central to the role. You will analyze contracts for compliance with company policies, legal requirements, government specifications, and applicable standards. You'll identify contractual risks and non-standard provisions, escalating issues to appropriate subject matter experts. You will maintain accurate contract records in contract lifecycle management systems, monitor agreement requests and pending actions, and support reporting metrics. You will serve as a trusted business partner across Sales, Legal, Pricing, Deal Desk, Finance, and Delivery Services, managing multiple simultaneous transactions while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. You will communicate contract considerations, risks, and recommendations clearly to internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes contributing to the development and enhancement of contract templates, playbooks, tools, and standard processes to improve efficiency and consistency. You will support continuous improvement of Contract Management policies and procedures, apply problem-solving techniques to unique contractual situations, and share knowledge and best practices. Itron is transforming how the world manages energy, water, and city services through intelligent infrastructure solutions that help utilities and cities improve efficiency, build resilience, and deliver safe, reliable, and affordable service.
