Engineered Intelligence is a utility infrastructure technology company headquartered in Calgary with offices in Toronto and expanding US locations. The company provides software and engineering services to North America's electric utilities, helping them digitally model electrical networks, optimize asset management decisions, and plan capital investments using statistics, reliability engineering, and machine learning. The Senior Consultant is a senior, client-facing delivery and solution design role responsible for leading technical implementations, configurations, and ongoing evolution of the ENGIN platform within complex utility environments. This is a hands-on practitioner and technical leader within the Client Delivery organization, reporting to the Head of Delivery. Key responsibilities include: **Solution Design & Technical Leadership**: Serve as the technical lead for ENGIN implementations, expansions, and complex configuration initiatives. Translate client asset, reliability, cost, and planning challenges into ENGIN data models, workflows, and analytics configurations. Design scalable solutions balancing client-specific needs with product standards and long-term maintainability. Act as a trusted technical advisor on asset analytics, planning methodologies, and ENGIN best practices. **Implementation Delivery & Execution**: Lead day-to-day delivery activities including requirements discovery, data ingestion and transformation, configuration of ENGIN modules and workflows, and user training. Partner with client technical teams (asset management, engineering, IT, data) to ensure successful deployment in operational environments. Ensure implementations meet agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards. **Client Collaboration & Enablement**: Work directly with client practitioners and subject-matter experts to understand asset management workflows and identify gaps between current and desired future-state analytics. Deliver training sessions, workshops, and working sessions enabling confident ENGIN usage. Support the Client Success Manager with deep technical context during client discussions and roadmap conversations. **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Collaborate with Product Management on requirements and use-case validation, Engineering on implementation needs and production considerations, and DevOps/Infrastructure/Security teams on releases and client environments. **Product Feedback & Continuous Improvement**: Identify recurring implementation patterns, friction points, and enhancement opportunities across clients. Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams grounded in real client usage. Contribute to reusable assets, implementation methodologies, and delivery standards. **Pre-Sales & Growth Support**: Assist with technical discovery, solution scoping, implementation effort estimation, and ENGIN capability demonstrations. Participate in conferences, industry events, and client demonstrations as required. This is a fully remote position with optional office access in Calgary and Toronto. Approximately 20–30% annual travel is expected for on-site client meetings, workshops, conferences, and internal events. Candidates must be located in Canada or the United States within one hour of a major international airport. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of experience working with electric or gas utilities, infrastructure analytics, or enterprise asset management environments - Hands-on experience with asset data (health, reliability, risk, cost, performance) - Experience implementing or working with enterprise platforms such as EAM, GIS, analytics, or planning tools - Strong analytical skills with comfort working in large, complex data sets - Ability to translate ambiguous client problems into structured, implementable solutions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving environment - High ownership mindset with bias toward action and delivery - Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models - Familiarity with modern data and cloud environments is valuable (deep coding expertise not required)
