The company operates across 20 offices on six continents and is headquartered in London. As Senior Analyst, Compliance Advisory, you will provide operational advisory on high-risk clients during onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger events, delivering justified opinions and recommendations. You will investigate compliance alerts, draft Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), and ensure appropriate monitoring of high-risk clients. You will proactively develop and update the local compliance framework including policies, procedures, and operating memos, and provide precise advisory to internal teams on procedural applications. Key responsibilities include contributing to AML-CTF risk classification updates and assessing new products/activities, contributing to regulatory and internal management reports, drafting training materials and conducting training sessions, and performing regulatory watch and gap analysis to identify enhancements. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various ad hoc Group and APAC compliance projects. The role operates on a hybrid model with three days per week in the office to support collaboration and connection. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 5 years of experience in a Compliance function in banking or payments - Prior Compliance Advisory experience preferred; alternatively, 2nd Line of Defense operations experience with exposure to investigations and audit handling - Robust knowledge of Financial Security topics (KYC, AML/CFT, Sanctions) and other Compliance topics (Payments Services Act, Scheme Rules) - Previous project management experience on Compliance framework setups - Clear sense of accountability, positive can-do attitude, and solution-oriented mindset - Ability to identify inefficiencies, see the bigger picture, challenge status quo, and define scalable processes - Well-organized self-starter who prioritizes quickly and meets deadlines under pressure - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - Team player with strong collaborative qualities - Willingness to continuously learn and stay current with payment industry and regulations (local and international) - Strong spoken and written English
