EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join its growing AI Center of Excellence. This role focuses on leveraging AI and machine learning to drive innovation across the organization and solve complex business problems for various business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage data to solve business problems across multiple business units at EcoVadis
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI/ML systems that integrate into production environments
- Design AI/ML pipelines applying best practices in MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps
- Build AI/ML engineering infrastructure and systems to orchestrate both batch and real-time pipelines
- Run large-scale experiments and tests to ensure quality and efficiency of ML and data pipelines
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to make AI/ML models accessible to end-users and downstream processes
- Leverage Python, MLflow, Azure stack (Azure Cloud, Azure ML, Azure Foundry), and Databricks to deliver end-to-end solutions
The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the Barcelona office with flexibility for full remote work from Spain. Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Industry experience driving, designing, and implementing production-grade AI/ML systems integrated into business applications with model monitoring at scale
- Strong programming skills in Python and related ML libraries
- Strong experience with AI/ML lifecycle, principles, and MLOps/LLMOps/AgentOps tooling (MLflow, LangChain, VectorDBs, evaluation frameworks)
- Experience with cloud technology, preferably Azure ecosystem (Azure Foundry, Azure Bicep, AzureML, Azure Cloud Storage) and Databricks
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience with REST APIs for ML model serving
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration in AI/ML product development with engineers and product managers
- Open personality with exceptional drive and desire to work in international, dynamic environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Contribution to open-source libraries is a plus
- Must be eligible to work and live in Spain
