Fractile, founded in 2022, is building specialized hardware to accelerate AI inference at scale. The company has raised $220M from top-tier investors including Founders Fund and Accel and is focused on solving the latent bottleneck in frontier AI: inference speed and efficiency at long contexts. This role is a Semiconductor Test and Product Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle of manufacturing test solutions for next-generation AI accelerator devices. You will span pre-silicon planning through first silicon bring-up, NPI, and high-volume production ramp. Key responsibilities include: - Develop, deploy, and maintain ATE test programs for high-volume manufacturing of AI accelerator chips and pre-silicon test vehicles - Implement manufacturing test content for advanced CMOS designs including high-speed logic, SRAM, DRAM, and high-speed IO blocks - Develop and debug structural and functional test content such as scan/ATPG, LBIST, MBIST, JTAG, and HSIO tests - Bring up first silicon on ATE, including pattern debug, tester correlation, characterization, and corner analysis - Optimize test coverage, test time, and cost while maintaining manufacturing robustness - Collaborate with subcontracted test program development partners and OSATs on test program execution and debug - Support qualification, reliability testing, and high-volume manufacturing ramp You will work closely with UK-based test development and DFT teams to ensure robust, scalable production of high-performance compute silicon. The role emphasizes ownership, rapid iteration, and direct engagement with leadership on ambitious timelines. REQUIREMENTS: - BS or MS in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or related field - 5+ years of hands-on semiconductor test engineering experience - Strong experience developing ATE test programs (Advantest 93K or similar) - Solid understanding of DFT methodologies (scan, ATPG, MBIST) and memory test techniques - Experience debugging silicon issues at the tester and correlating failures to design or process causes - Familiarity with advanced CMOS nodes and production test challenges - Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience testing AI accelerators, GPUs, networking ASICs, or other high-performance compute ICs - Experience with PCIe Gen5/Gen6 or other high-speed interfaces - Exposure to advanced packaging, chiplets, or multi-die test flows - Experience improving yield, reducing test time, or optimizing cost in high-volume manufacturing - Experience in test hardware procurement (probe cards, load boards, sockets)
