Foresite is seeking a Security Automation Engineer to join their Professional Services team in a client-facing role. You will work directly with Foresite's external customers to deploy and adopt their SOAR-powered ecosystem, building custom automation workflows, playbooks, and blocks tailored to each customer's security operations environment. Key Responsibilities: - Write and adapt Python scripts to build API integrations and configure automated actions within customer SOAR environments - Partner with customer stakeholders to understand their tools, processes, and pain points, then translate requirements into tailored automation solutions - Design, build, and troubleshoot automation playbooks, workflows, and blocks within Google SecOps SOAR - Serve as the primary technical point of contact during customer engagements, delivering hands-on enablement training - Leverage Git and GitHub best practices to manage playbook and script repositories - Collaborate with customers to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that reduce mean-time-to-detection (MTTD) and mean-time-to-response (MTTR) - Create clear, customer-facing documentation for playbooks, workflows, and integrations About Foresite: Founded by passionate security practitioners, Foresite is a mission-driven global leader in SecOps and Managed Detection and Response (MDR). Requirements: - 3-5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations - Foundational Python scripting skills - Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and parsing JSON structures - Demonstrated experience with GitHub (branching, merging, pull requests) - Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills for client-facing work - Willingness and aptitude to learn and master Google SecOps SOAR (or other major SOAR platforms) quickly - Natural problem-solver with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Ability to work directly with customer teams and translate operational needs into practical automation solutions
