Jitterbit, a market-leading Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) and API Management solution provider recognized in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for seven consecutive years, is seeking a Senior SDET Engineer to architect, implement, and continuously deliver testing tools and infrastructure at scale.
In this role, you will collaborate with agile teams to design and build scalable automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end components. You'll work with modern technologies including Node.js, WebdriverIO, TypeScript, pytest, and Python to create maintainable, high-value automated test suites. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Selenium Grid, Docker, and related DevOps toolchains. Your work will span diverse technology endpoints including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Salesforce, NetSuite, MS Dynamics CRM, and integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, and XML.
You'll approach automated testing as a software development discipline—not just writing tests, but building test software and reporting solutions that enable developers to continuously deliver features with confidence. You'll stay current with testing trends and technologies, experiment with new approaches, and bring innovative ideas to improve the testing feedback loop. This is an opportunity to help re-imagine integration platform solutions that delight customers and amplify engineering team performance.
The role requires strong remote collaboration across distributed teams and time zones, with flexibility to support critical releases and cross-time-zone initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on experience designing, building, and evolving scalable automation frameworks from the ground up
- Proven track record transforming manual test coverage into maintainable, high-value automated test suites

- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages; ability to write clean, production-quality test code
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as an embedded Quality Engineer
- Exposure to iPaaS, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms; understanding of distributed systems and integration validation
- Hands-on experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP), working with JSON/XML payloads, and validating integrations with relational databases, CRM/ERP systems, and third-party platforms
- Comfortable with Postman, Jenkins, Docker, VirtualBox/Hyper-V, npm/yarn, JMeter, JIRA, GitHub, and DevOps toolchains
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve test generation, code quality, or productivity
- Ability to read vendor API documentation and navigate complex integration landscapes independently
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate risk and advocate for quality
- Willingness to flex hours for cross-time-zone collaboration and critical releases
