Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking a Sanctions Advisory Specialist to join its Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team. This mid-level role offers the opportunity to become the internal subject matter expert on sanctions compliance across a global blockchain ecosystem serving 300+ million users in 100+ countries.
You will support the Global Head of Sanctions in providing actionable compliance advice to stakeholders across Binance, helping the organization effectively manage sanctions-related risks. Your responsibilities include continuously monitoring the regulatory landscape in your region and translating external legal developments into potential policy adjustments. You will critically evaluate Binance's processes for identifying, documenting, and assessing sanctions risks, providing expert advice and constructive challenge where appropriate.
A key part of this role is ensuring that Binance's entities and employees effectively investigate, mitigate, and remediate any identified sanctions compliance issues in line with policy and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders in an environment that provides global visibility into how sanctions compliance requirements and controls are embedded within the business. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position requiring strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute on multiple fronts simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (JD/Master's preferred)
- ACAMS or ACFCS certification preferred
- 5+ years of sanctions compliance experience in a global financial institution (highly desirable)
- Solid knowledge of banking, payment, or crypto compliance frameworks and controls
- Ability to work across functional and geographic lines with strong stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to meet deadlines, ability to act decisively, and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
