Salary: GBP 36,000 - 54,000 / annual

GoCardless, a Mollie company, is a global leader in bank payments processing over US$130bn annually across 30+ countries. The company serves over 100,000 businesses with Direct Debit, real-time payments, and open banking solutions, plus AI-powered fraud and payment success tools. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a founding member of GoCardless's new Salesforce Development team, responsible for delivering meaningful business changes through the Salesforce platform. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, collaborating with Commercial and Operational teams, Business Analysts, Integration Architects, and Business Intelligence professionals to validate requirements and implement solutions. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with business stakeholders to validate requirements and deliver changes across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Data Cloud platforms - Enhancing integrations using Salesforce APIs to connect with systems like DocuSign, Qualtrics, Kernel, and marketing tools - Following Salesforce best practices, maintaining code documentation, and writing/maintaining test classes for all custom development - Taking ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new applications and code updates - Integrating and maintaining business applications within Salesforce - Helping grow knowledge and best practices within the team and wider business - Assisting with quality assurance development - Using DevOps and quality tooling to deploy reliable, consistent enhancements You will need strong people skills to communicate ideas and solutions to stakeholders, and the ability to help grow experience within the team. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong Sales Cloud and CPQ product knowledge - Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Java, and Lightning components - Strong knowledge of CPQ or Revenue Cloud, including product catalogue build, pricing strategies, product rules, pricing rules, and approvals automation - Experience with all core elements of Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration - Experience with Salesforce architecture and custom coding - Familiarity with business process analysis and CRM systems - Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications - Experience working with large data sets and bulkification - Strong soft skills: requirement gathering, stakeholder presentation, collaboration, and communication - Self-starter mentality with experience leading projects or delivery work streams NICE TO HAVE: - Salesforce Developer Certification - Experience with Revenue Cloud or Data Cloud/Data 360 - Integrated systems development background - Active participation in Salesforce community - Experience integrating marketing tools with Salesforce - Additional Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I)
