MNTN is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to bridge Revenue Operations teams' needs with the systems and processes that enable their success. You will partner with RevOps product managers, revenue stakeholders, and the Salesforce build team to translate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements. Your work spans the full lifecycle from discovery through delivery and adoption, ensuring solutions remain grounded in the actual problem being solved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with RevOps and stakeholders across sales, customer success, and marketing operations to elicit, challenge, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria; map current and future-state processes including opportunity management, handoffs, routing, and account planning
- Own the intake queue as the single front door for incoming requests; triage and resolve daily operational items while backlogging others for roadmap prioritization
- Maintain triage and intake hygiene, keeping queues clean, scoped, and legible
- Own user acceptance testing (UAT), write and execute test plans, validate against acceptance criteria, and coordinate release readiness with Technical Enablement
- Track work through the delivery pipeline, sprint boards, sandbox promotion, and release timing to ensure specifications ship on schedule
- Maintain documentation, data-dictionary entries, and process/SOP artifacts to keep the system legible and maintainable
- Perform light declarative Salesforce configuration where appropriate (reports, fields, layouts)
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a Salesforce and/or RevOps environment
- Strong requirements elicitation, user-story writing, and process-mapping skills; ability to ask probing follow-up questions
- Working knowledge of Salesforce objects, records, reports, and conceptual understanding of automation (Salesforce Admin certification a plus)
- Experience running UAT, writing documentation, and managing stakeholders across go-to-market teams
- Experience running a request-intake and triage process and keeping a shared queue (e.g., Jira) clean and current
- Familiarity with Salesforce release mechanics, sandboxes, change sets or CI/CD tools, and how builds move from dev to production
- Comfort in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment where priorities shift and clarity is your responsibility to create
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with the GTM stack (LeanData, Qualified, Inflection, Nooks) and BI/reporting tools like Tableau
- RevOps process knowledge: segmentation, lifecycle, coverage, and forecasting
