Salary: EUR 30,000 - 45,000 / annual
Verto Education is hiring a Salesforce Administrator to own the day-to-day health and evolution of their Salesforce org. You'll report to the Engineering Team Manager and work alongside engineers, product managers, and operations teams who use Salesforce daily.
This role is not about closing tickets—it's about fixing root causes, maintaining data integrity, and pushing back on requests that don't make sense. You'll be based in Seville with occasional travel to other European sites, and you'll need regular overlap with US working hours (available until 19:00 CET at least four days per week, with occasional calls for US Pacific developers).
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new features end-to-end using declarative tools (Flow, objects, fields, Lightning pages, Dynamic Forms) rather than code as a first resort
- Own user management and access control, using permission sets and sharing rules effectively
- Build and maintain automation in Flow with clear documentation and testability
- Configure objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and record types as business needs evolve
- Work in sandboxes and follow a documented release process; never build directly in production
- Maintain data quality through duplicate rules, data imports/updates, and fixing issues at the source
- Create reports and dashboards that teams actually use
- Participate in security reviews covering field-level security, audit trails, login settings, and connected apps
- Stay current with Salesforce release notes and evaluate new features like AI and Agentforce
- Triage and resolve Salesforce requests from staff, documenting solutions to prevent recurrence
- Partner with engineers on integrations and with product managers on requirements
Verto is a mission-driven organization reimagining higher education by making travel and experiential learning a core part of the first year, enabling students to begin their academic journey overseas before transferring to one of 70+ partner universities in the US. The team is small, trust-based, and uses Asana for tracking and Slack for communication. They prioritize shipping well-scoped work on time over perfection, and expect team members to use AI tools daily.
Requirements:
- English at B2 level (CEFR) or higher—required for following technical conversations and writing requirements, documentation, and Slack messages
- Ability to work on-site in an office environment
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (current certification required)
- 3+ years administering a live Salesforce org with real users and real data
- Proven track record of shipping new features with declarative tools; be ready to walk through one example from request to release
- Solid Flow experience: record-triggered, screen, and scheduled flows, plus fault handling
- Security-first mindset with permissions—grant least access necessary
- Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously; write things down, ask when stuck, don't wait to be chased
- Good judgment to say no or suggest alternatives to requests
Nice-to-have:
- Apex experience (reading and debugging triggers, understanding classes)
- Additional Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I, Sharing and Visibility Architect, Data Architect, Agentforce Specialist)
- Source control and deployment tools (Git, Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, Gearset, Copado)
- SOQL for troubleshooting and ad hoc queries
- Experience Cloud or integrations with external systems
- Background in education, higher ed, or study abroad
